The Clark County Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center, located in Greenwood, is a place all parents with children birth to five can gather to share information and ideas about parenting, learn about resources available and receive parenting guidance. It is a place to find a caring friend, helping hand or a listening ear. The Family Resource Center is a Children's Trust Fund sponsored program.

Join us at the Clark County Family Resource Center, located in Greenwood, for the "Family Fun Time" playgroup. This playgroup provides an opportunity for play, stories, and songs. It meets on the first and third Friday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For more information and to register, call the Center at 715-267-4393.

The Family Resource Center also hosts a Parent Support Group along with a "First Book Club" for children ages three to five. The Support Group provides an opportunity for parents to talk with other parents about topics and issues of interest to you about raising children. The "First Book Club" includes story time and each child will receive six new (free) books, two a month for three months. Childcare is provided free of charge.
The Parent Support Group and First Book Club will meet twice a month on Tuesday nights from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Call the Family Resource Center at 715-267-4393 to register or stop by during our operating hours: Mondays & Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Warmline is your link to non-emergency support on the day-to-day challenges of child rearing. The Warmline provides confidential sharing and emotional support from a sympathetic and objective listener. The Warmline is available during Family Resource Center operating hours: Monday from 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., or you may call anytime and leave a message and your call will be returned.
While the Family Resource Center staff believes there is no one right way to parent, all families can benefit from parenting information and support. Some of the services that Valerie Johnson, Director, will coordinate are:
